Use this checklist before asking suppliers to quote.
- Project and system: country, voltage, grounding, frequency and applicable specification
- Cable: manufacturer, model, U0/U (Um), cores, conductor, insulation, screen, armour and sheath
- Dimensions: conductor, insulation and overall cable diameters
- Accessory: indoor/outdoor termination, joint type, cleat arrangement and quantities
- Interfaces: bushing, switchgear, lug palm, phase spacing and bonding
- Documents: datasheet, drawing, installation instruction, test reports, origin and packing labels

A controlled quotation should include a clarification list, confirmed cable range, itemised kit contents, excluded items, document schedule, packing by cable size and validity of the technical selection.
